My name is Ian Kinyon, and I am a full-time missionary with Youth With A Mission (YWAM).
During my Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM, I had the opportunity to serve in both Palau and the Tohoku region as part of my outreach. In Palau, I experienced the love of the Father like never before, and in Tohoku, Japan, I witnessed firsthand how God is moving in Japan. These experiences deepened my passion for Japan and my desire to see a great revival in the nation.
The Lord has placed a calling on my life to serve in Japan for the long term, where I will join YWAM staff and step into sports-related ministries. I have a heart to see young Japanese people encounter Jesus and spread His love through meaningful relationships and community.
My ministry is centered on discipleship and outreach through sports and other ministries. In Japan, sports create natural spaces for connection, mentorship, and intentionality, especially with young people. My desire is to use athletics as a bridge to build relationships and share the Gospel. I hope to create long-lasting, intentional relationships to show the freedom and purpose Jesus brings.
As Christians, we are all called to the mission: going, praying, and supporting. Every act—financial or prayerful—is essential in advancing God's Kingdom and reaching the lost.
Would you prayerfully consider supporting me financially or through prayer as we work towards a mass revival in Japan?
Blessing,
Ian Kinyon
