Hi friends,

My name is Emmaline Starr, and I am currently serving full time at Youth With A Mission in Kona, Hawaii.

I attended Discipleship Training School in 2022, and came back for a second level school called Stewardship and Sustainability in the spring 2023.

In that time God ignited a deep passion in my heart for sustainable agriculture, community development, and how God's creation can be used to help break the cycle of poverty, and bring gospel driven change to both people and their land.

Now, I work with the Sustainable Technology Research Center! We're a training center that teaches on the main topics of, healthy food, clean water, and energy sources. Our goal is to send missionaries into the nations with a better understanding of these basic principles, and how to use God's creation to meet people's felt needs. Not only is agriculture used all over the world, but it's also an amazing opportunity to open a conversation about the man who created it all, God.

It is truly such an honor to be a part of this amazing team, and to be working in what God has called me into.
