Aloha! We are missionaries with YWAM Global Coffee Initiative as the Pacific Coordinators. YWAM stands for Youth With A Mission.

YWAM GCI (Global Coffee Initiative) is a YWAM ministry that uses worldwide recognized certifications and trainings (through the Specialty Coffee Association) to bring transformation to individuals and communities. These trainings equip other missionaries to build sustainable bridges to be welcomed into the darkest places, as well as to equip locals with new economic means and birth new opportunities to have influence in their own region. YWAM GCI has had the honor to serve missionaries, locals, villages, other YWAM locations, governments, refugees, and even the United Nations.

Eric and the team at YWAM GCI have diligently pursued professional training and teaching to become experts in their respective fields. They share a heart that desires to see the Kingdom of God leading the way in the professional world, and to create pathways to lead others there as well.

Jiayan is using her biblical counseling skills to help people from all over the world to live and transform into the image of Christ instead of from their hurt, fear, and trauma. Her goal is to come along side individuals, families, and ministries to build emotional capacity, recover from malfunction, trauma, and increase maturity. Her desire is to see people connect to God so they can live freely and love fully. She is also beginning her Master of Social Work to become a licensed counselor in the future.

Our family is also expanding to three in December of 2023. So we will also have a brand new (and most important) ministry, a ministry of parenting and family. Prayers and encouragement are much appreciated!
