Hi!!!! My name is Eve Hauger, and I am a missionary with Youth With a Mission.

So, how did I end up here?

It all started during my freshman year of college at North Dakota State University. I was a lost and broken 19-year-old, wrestling with identity, questions, and confusion. Though I was raised in a Christian home, I was more so a fly on the wall watching people in my family follow the Lord. This made me think to myself, "What else could be out there in this world?" I proceeded to attend high school as one would say with one foot in and one foot out - being part of this world, but also knowing that Jesus is alive, feeling Him close, but never putting Him at the center. By senior year big decisions were being made and people around me started prophesying YWAM over me. I never felt the Lord call me directly into it so I headed to my freshman year of college. You can probably guess how my first semester went—away from home, free from rules, chasing what the world said would be “the best four years of my life.” Still, I’d wake up some mornings with a heavy heart, knowing I was made for more.

Everything changed one night at a campus ministry event. A female leader shared her testimony—and it was like looking in a mirror. Fake IDs, people-pleasing, image obsession… In that moment, I heard the voice of the Lord more clearly than I ever had:

"Take my hand and trust Me. Go." He whispered.

I vividly saw Jesus clothed in the most purest of whites holding my younger self’s hand, laughing and jumping from rock to rock along the beach. I was shaking. That night, I applied to YWAM Kona and got accepted into their Discipleship Training School (DTS).

In January 2025, I left for this wild adventure and never looked back. It was here that I got GRIPPED by the Gospel, fell madly in love with the Father, and had realized He was jealous for my entire being. I spent the first 3 months in Kona, Hawaii being discipled, spending hours in the classroom hearing teachings from people like Andy Byrd, Francis Chan, and John Bevere. I went from being a fly on the wall to laying down everything I had for this love I had found. The last 2 1/2 months of DTS I got sent to the Middle East where I was on mission in the country of Cyprus. A place where Paul and Barnabas first did ministry (Acts 11). In Cyprus my heart was set on fire for missions.

What’s next—and how can you help?

This January (2026), I’m heading to YWAM Montana for their Biblical Core Course—a 3-month program focused on deepening understanding of God’s Word through inductive Bible study and small group discussion. This school is designed to equip missionaries to know the Bible and share it faithfully across nations.

Although I’m working two jobs to help cover the cost, I need your support. I believe some of you may be the very people God is calling to walk with me—both now and in future seasons of long-term missions.

How to Support:

PRAYER! Prayer is powerful and it changes things. Please be praying for continued clarity and guidance, strength and endurance during this season, and fresh revelation and intimacy with Jesus as I study the Word.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT

My goal is $4,500, which covers housing, food, books, and school expenses for the full 3 months.

Would you consider partnering with me to see God’s Kingdom glorified?

With love

Eve
