Hello! My name is Daniel Weidner, and I'm super excited to share that, On January 14th, 2026, I'll be heading off to Youth With A Mission (YWAM), a Christian missions organization. This isn't just a short trip; it's a six-month mission that's going to impact my life and, I hope, impact many others too. 

TRAINING

For the first three months, I'll be at their Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Kona, Hawaii. There, I'll learn how to effectively share the Gospel and disciple people, growing deeper in my faith and understanding of God's word.

OUTREACH 

After my time in Kona, I'll spend another three months in a different country, putting everything I've learned into practice. This is where I'll actually get to spread the word of God and help disciple others, sharing the amazing news of His love with people who might not have heard it before. 

ABOUT YWAM

YWAM's main goal is to reach all nations and show everyone God's good word, and that's exactly what I'll be a part of. YWAM was founded in 1960, and has been active in over 180 countries, and it's incredible to think I'll be contributing to such a massive global movement.

THE PURPOSE 

This mission is way more than just me, it’s about bringing glory to our amazing God in heaven. This is about bringing hope to others, and making others aware of what he did on the cross, and to make others aware of his plans for us. 

Mark 16:15 says

“And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.”

PRAYER

Your prayers will be greatly appreciated if not anything else during this journey. I pray that I gain wisdom, knowledge, and a better understanding of the word from my time in DTS. I pray that I will be able to reach the broken, and spread Gods love. I pray that I am able to reach my financial goal. And most importantly I pray that I glorify God through the whole thing. I ask that you guys pray for those same things for me. Every prayer is much appreciated.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT 

In addition to prayer, financial support is crucial for my ability to participate in this mission. The total amount of money I need to support raise is $11,000. The costs include tuition for DTS, travel expenses, food, and living expenses for the entirety of the 6 months. Every contribution, no matter how small of a contribution, it will make a difference in my ability to go out on this mission.
