Hello, my name is Donevan!
I have the honor of serving with the EveryHeart Movement, which has now become a Youth With A Mission (YWAM) base in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Our heart as a Movement is simple yet urgent: to see every heart encountered by the tangible love of Jesus—and then sent out to carry that same love to the ends of the earth. We believe God is answering the prayer for more laborers, and He has called us to be part of that answer.
My own life has been transformed by this mission. I first joined EveryHeart to participate in the very first Discipleship Training School (DTS) through YWAM. At the time, I didn’t know fully what I was stepping into—but what I discovered was the most precious gift I’ll carry for the rest of my life: a real, living relationship with Jesus.Â
It was in that season at the EveryHeart school that I not only encountered Jesus in a new way, but also began preaching the Gospel for the very first time. As I stepped out in boldness, I saw people encounter the love of God right in front of me, and it changed me forever. Alongside that, I was receiving weekly training, being discipled, and discovering my true purpose: to know God and to make Him known.
My Current Roles
Today I get to invest my life into raising up others who will carry this same mission. Some of the ways I am serving include:
Staffing the next DTS – Discipling students in our upcoming school launching in February, while helping with interviews, applications, and preparation in the meantime.
Leading Worship – Leading weekly gatherings at the EveryHeart Building and in our Prayer Room.
Reaching College Campuses – Helping lead worship on campuses every Monday night, creating space for students to encounter God.
Summer Tour Leadership – Leading a team to take the Gospel across cities and campuses during the EveryHeart Summer Tour.
