Hey friends!

We’re Dakota and Carsyn Hockel, serving with YWAM Byron Bay, Australia. We’re passionate about seeing people encounter Jesus, be transformed by His love, and be sent out to impact the world.

We help lead and serve in Discipleship Training Schools and the School of Worship, where we walk alongside staff and students through life and faith, championing them in their God-given calling. This training takes place in Byron Bay, where we’re based. From here, we equip students and staff to go on outreaches across the world preaching the Gospel, making disciples, and edifying the Church.

Now, as God has blessed us with the gift of parenthood, we’re learning even more about His heart for family and discipleship, and we love inviting others into that journey with us. As missionaries, we rely solely on God’s provision through faithful friends who support us as we pursue the life He has called us into. Your support, both prayerfully and financially makes it possible for us to serve our base, go to the nations, and disciple, train, and send others to fulfill the Great Commission.
