Devon and Mie Glenn are currently serving as full time Evangelists in Japan. They moved their family to Japan in August of 2017. They are passionate about church planting, discipleship, promoting Kingdom business, and fighting the problem of suicide in Japan. Approximately 30,000 Japanese people commit suicide every year.
After Devon left a professional Music career, The Glenn’s built a successful business in the Luxury Logistics industry that lasted ten years. After accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, God transformed the couple from having selfish aspirations to a commitment to serving others and advancing God’s Kingdom. The couple sold their home, and all their possessions, they committed their lives as followers of Jesus Christ.
The Five ways they bring the Love and Gospel of Jesus Christ to the un-reached in Japan
• Heaven’s Cafe is a miracle cafe that God uses as a bridge into our surrounding communities. We have seen salvations, God heal the sick, restore families, and bring hope to impossible situations.
• Elevate Church Japan is a church plant. Devon and Mie are ordained Evangelists and ministers under the covering of Elevate Church, Newhall, CA. They conduct weekly services and quarterly Christian Conferences at the International University of Japan. IUJ is an English speaking university. Many students from approximately sixty countries are expecting to play leading roles in Government and Business when they return home. Our vision is that students bring the Love of Jesus Christ back to their nations and create a place we can come worship together in our Japanese community.
• Glorious Encounter is a worship group created out of the desire to release the presence and creativity of God through discipleship and music.
• Empowering Japan takes selected missionaries from different countries to Japan and together we teach and equip the Japanese community. Our teams share a burning passion for Japan, evangelism, and supernatural ministry. We conduct monthly outreaches throughout Japan. Devon is a board member and we also contribute as trainers.
• One Love Media creates Christian documentaries and short films that bring awareness to un-reached nations. We partner with authors that write inspirational life stories and write about Kingdom Business principles that bring restoration, prosperity, and Hope.
