My name is Caitlin van der Merwe, I am 26 years old and currently a full-time missionary with Fire and Fragrance South Africa which is a missions organization that forms part of Youth With A Mission (YWAM) and is based in Potchefstroom, South Africa.

My burning heart desires to see reformation within South Africa and the continent of Africa. I not only desire to go and spread the beautiful Gospel of Jesus but also to meet the needs of His people by bringing reformation where needed.

I currently lead a ministry, called Woven, where we work with sexually exploited and vulnerable women on the streets in South Africa. Due to the demographics of where we minister, we also get to deal with gangsters and pimps in our town. Our goal is to not only work with these women hands-on but also to invite other believers to stand for justice and extend mercy.

Everything that I am doing is on a voluntary basis, which I am able to do long-term through the support of those who have the same heart for missions and to see the Kingdom advance.
