Hello! I hope this page finds you well.  

In April, I graduated from Samford University with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. Through God’s grace, I graduated a year ahead of schedule! I have prayed for discernment and wisdom on what my steps should be during this next phase of my life, and I have accepted the call to be a missionary. I have felt a missional calling ever since I was a little girl. I ignored that call when I graduated from high school, but now, the burning in my soul to pursue the lost is so strong, I cannot ignore it any longer. Over 42% of the world’s population is considered unreached, meaning that over 3.5 billion people have little or no access to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In October I am participating in a six month Discipleship Training School at Youth With A Mission Kona (YWAM Kona) in Hawaii, specifically the Fire and Fragrance program. Fire and Fragrance’s mission is “to send out young people with burning hearts, to the ends of the earth, carrying the love of Jesus.”

The first three months I will be in Discipleship Training School, learning to be a missionary, and how to use my love for journalism and media to document the stories in the nations that I will be serving. The next three months, I will be sent abroad to share the love of Jesus, healing the sick and setting people free from their bondage. I do not know where I will be sent, however, the program I am participating in focuses on specifically unreached nations. I am so excited for this adventure---following Jesus means our greatest days are ahead of us!

To be fully funded, I need to raise $10,000.00. As I wait for my departure date, I will be working in Nashville to save towards this endeavor. I strongly believe that the Lord will help me achieve my financial goal through the help of all of you, my friends and family. I am looking for people to partner with me both financially through donations and spiritually through prayer.
