My name is Candida De los Santos Santos. I was born in Higüey, La Altagracia, Dominican Republic. I am 62 years old. I had a difficult childhood because my mother died when I was a little girl. I grew up working in agriculture; I didn't have the opportunity to study as a child. I was able to graduate high school at 35. I am a mother of three children, two boys and a girl. I have six grandchildren.  

Now I live in Jarabacoa with my family. I work as a caregiver for Fight Ministries, a Christian institution dedicated to restoring underage girls who are victims of trafficking and integrating them into society with good habits and morals. I serve as a spiritual guide, speaking to them about Christ and the salvation of their souls.

I sincerely hope that every girl who comes to the ministry leaves completely restored and evangelized, and that every person who works here understands that we are a family seeking the well-being of all.

For me, your financial and prayerful support means a lot! Prayer breaks chains! We always need prayer! God hears us when we set our issues aside and pray for the problems of others. And we support each other financially, we know we're not alone, and it gives us security in our work.
