Hi! My name is Corryn Scharff.

For the past three years, I’ve been serving in full-time ministry—first for two years at a local church in Texas, and now with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) overseas. In 2024, I joined the mission field through YWAM and completed a Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Australia with an outreach trip to the Solomon Islands. God first sparked a passion for missions in my heart back in 2021 while I was serving in Colombia. But during my time in the Solomon Islands, that passion grew even stronger. I began to realize that missions wasn’t just something I was doing for a season—it was something God was calling me to for the long term… but how??

After DTS, God invited me on what I like to call my “trust trip”—a two-month journey through Thailand, Vietnam, and Taiwan where I had a one-way flight with no solid plans, just faith and His voice to guide me. It was during those weeks of walking closely with Him, relying daily on His provision and guidance, that He clearly spoke: I was being called back—this time, not just for a trip, but for full-time missions!

That being said, from September to December 2025, I’ll be in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, attending a secondary YWAM school called the Discipleship Bible School (DBS). I’ll be going deeper into the Word of God and preparing for long-term leadership in the mission field. Then, in January 2026, I’ll be stepping into a two-year staff role at YWAM Sunshine Coast in Australia. While based there, I’ll be helping to train and disciple new missionaries and lead outreach teams to our partner locations in Asia, Northern Africa, and the Pacific Islands—places that are deeply on God's heart, and mine as well.

I can’t do this alone. I’m looking for a team of prayer warriors and financial supporters who believe in the Great Commission and want to be part of what God is doing in the nations. Your prayers strengthen me, and your financial partnership allows me to walk out this calling without hesitation, fully focused on sharing the gospel, discipling young leaders, and loving people across cultures.
