Hi! my name is Cady Freeman, I am twenty years old and I love Jesus!
God has absolutely changed my life, He has brought light to a darkness I never thought I would escape, He has poured out more love over me than I could ever imagine, and has continued to be faithful to me every single day. Not only has He saved me but He has entirely changed the trajectory of my life.
Growing up being a missionary was never in my mind, in fact I would have just said I wanted to be a mom when I grow up. But God showed me just how great He is, and how many people do not know this. There are countless people who don't know who Jesus truly is or that He died for them, or even know His name!
God has placed something on my heart that I can not ignore: millions of people going about their days not knowing God and the endless love He has for them. God has called me to go and to make disciples of all nations, including the US.
I have an opportunity to serve on staff at YWAM Bozeman in Montana! YWAM stands for Youth With A Mission, it is a missions organization that desires to see young adults absolutely set on fire for the Lord see their lives changed by Him. Their mission is to send young people into the world as missionaries, whether that is going to the nations or working in business or becoming a teacher. Where ever you live, that is your mission field!
While there I will get to staff a Discipleship Training School, I will walk along side the students and disciple them as they go through three months of "lecture phase." They will be in lectures varying anywhere from hearing the voice of God to what it looks like to live as a missionary. Then after lecture phase I will lead a team on outreach! My co-leader and I will lead some of the students to a country (where ever the Lord calls us to go) and we will lead the students in ministry there as well as continue to disciple them. The entire school is five and a half months long and it is designed to create a space and time for the students to encounter God in a powerful way and to set them up to be disciples who make disciples when they go home! I will also be serving the community in Bozeman and potentially traveling around the States to continue to preach the Gospel and fire up the believers in the States!
