Hello everyone! My name is Cintia Silva and I am currently serving as a missionary with YWAM Ships Kona.

After graduating from University with a nursing degree, instead of getting a regular job I decided to take a step of faith and see what God had for me in the mission field. In January of 2020, I had the opportunity of attending a Discipleship Training School (DTS) where I was taught to dive deeper in my relationship with God and declared to the Lord that I would go to the ends of the earth for Him. YWAM’s vision is to know God and make Him known, which is exactly what the Lord has called us to do.

Therefore, in 2022 I went to Papua New Guinea through YWAM as a missionary nurse working to pioneer the medical ministry in the province of Madang. For 2 years, I led many volunteers to different villages using health care as an open door to building a relationship with the community and allowing other teams to come after us. At the same time that we provided medical care, we also had people at all times engaging with the community, giving testimonies, handing out Bibles, doing kids ministry….

Now I continue to staff with this ministry from Kona and I am grateful to be able to serve Jesus and His people in Papua New Guinea, and I want to ask you to partner with me on this incredible ministry because I can’t do it alone.
