Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I am Avinash Vemagiri from Andhra Pradesh. I live in a small village called Palacharla. My father passed away on June 21, 2014, My Mother is house maker, and I have one younger sister who got married in 2015 , and I got married in 2020 with Dyva Krupa daughter of George Srimanthula, Now we have two kids ,they are our son Rickson Joy and Daughter Kristina.Â
I was born into a Hindu family. My father had seven brothers, so ours was a big family in our village. All of them had a good name in society and were well-settled and wealthy. Unfortunately, because of my father’s alcohol addiction, I lost my father due to his addiction. As a youngster, I enjoyed my life with friends and education. Thankfully, my mother was a believer. From my childhood, she used to bring me to church, but it never touched my heart. I did not accept Jesus Christ then, and in fact, I did not truly know Him as my Savior.Â
When I was studying my first year of graduation, I was deeply involved in worldly things— friends, parties, movies, and so on. On May 23, 2012, God opened my eyes and showed me where I was and what I was doing, which was completely opposite to God's will. All my friends betrayed me, and during that time, I was very depressed. I struggled deeply, and as a youngster, I could not explain my situation to my family or anyone else. But in that situation, God alone took care of me, spoke to me, and led me into salvation.Â
After receiving counseling from my spiritual brother, I took baptism on July 1, 2012. After that, something changed completely in my life. I developed a deep interest in Jesus Christ. I visited many churches to listen to the Word of God, watched Christian TV programs, videos, and read Christian literature. Through all this, I was greatly blessed and began to understand more about Jesus Christ.Â
As I learned about ministry, I developed a strong desire to serve in the church— arranging chairs and carpets, setting up the sound system, gathering people, serving others, and cleaning the church grounds. I was very happy to do these things.Â
After some time, God put a thought in my heart: Why not do ministry work in your local church? I had no idea about ministry before, but God led me clearly. I started by helping children read the Bible. With the permission of the church pastor,I began leading worship, giving small sermons, conducting youth meetings, and organizing gospel crusades. For the first time in our village, many people were blessed and became ready to take baptism. Later, we started a street gospel outreach, youth counseling, and children's ministry.Â
Through all these activities, I became deeply committed to God’s work. While doing ministry from 2013 onward, I completed my education in 2014. At the same time, I lost my father. Since my family members come from a Hindu background, many of them blamed me, saying that because of my ministry work, my father died. Many people believed this, but I never felt discouraged. I strongly believed that everything happens according to God’s will, and I surrendered everything into His hands.Â
After completing two years of ministry in the local church, in 2016 I joined a local engineering college as an Assistant Professor. Along with my job and church ministry, I also completed my post-graduation M.Tech in 2019. By the Grace of God now I'm leading a church that has 300 people with the ministry name of Grace Mission in my village Palacharla.Â
