Hi everyone! My name is Alex Moreno! I am currently preparing to serve 6 months in Phnom Penh, Cambodia Asia through a group called YWAM (Youth With A Mission).

The Lord has put missionary work on my heart for the past couple of years and I am so excited to have this opportunity and see how the Lord plans to use me. Upon arrival to Cambodia I will begin a 3 month DTS (Disciple Training School) to prepare me with the tools and knowledge I will need to minister effectively within their culture. The goal of this specific mission is to raise disciples to then preach the gospel, and spread His Kingdom to all the nations. After completing the course our group will go out fully equipped and ready for the next 2-3 months to preach the gospel to Cambodian families who have never heard the Word of God before.

At first I truly didn’t understand why God called me to Cambodia. I had never heard of this country before and honestly didn’t want to go there. However, I kept feeling the call and pull to missions work. After researching more about Cambodia my heart began to grow for the people. Only  2.8% of their population is Christian, and most have not been exposed to the life changing truth of God’s word. Buddhism and Islam are the dominating religions of the area, and it is actually illegal to preach the TRUE gospel.

These people need our help to expand the Kingdom of Heaven and reach those who have never been reached. If you would like to like to help support me, anything is appreciated!
