Hi there!

My name is Ariel Kim and I am a 21 year old Korean Australian living as a full time missionary with Youth With A Mission.

I completed my Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Ywam Perth in July 2021. Where God radically changed my life, from a life ridden with hopelessness and crippling anxiety, to a life full of Hope and freedom, rooted in the Truth of Jesus.

Since my DTS, I have been serving with YWAM and have done further training in secondary level schools. The BCC an, intensive Bible school, and the FCM a Biblical based counselling school.

Throughout my time in YWAM I’ve had the amazing opportunity to go on outreach and preach the good news in Darwin, Broome, Gold coast and South Sudan.

I now serve as a staff with the Discipleship Training School. Where we equip young people to know God intimately, ultimately through the Word and seeking God face to face, throughout a 3 month lecture phase and a 3 month outreach where students share their faith and serve the nations.

In my role as a DTS staff, I have the honor of leading young women through both the lecture and outreach phase. I support and closely walk alongside a group of 9 girls in my dormitory room as they learn more about God and have the pleasure of leading a team to the nations during the 3-month outreach, declaring the name of Jesus to those who may have never heard it before.

DTS not only changed my life but I’ve seen it transform so many others. I’m passionate about discipleship and helping young people and those hurting to find their identity in God and walk differently from the world!
