Andrew Hiura

Hello! I am Andrew Hiura and I am a part of YWAM (Youth With a Mission) Kona!

I am involved with the Fire and Fragrance DTS within YWAM Kona! Our mission is to know God and to make God known in different spheres around the world. We want to see people who have never heard the name of Jesus, become a devout worshipper and lover of Him.

I recently did my DTS through YWAM Kona Fire and Fragrance where we are empowered to learn about God, His voice, and the direct call that we as individuals have to expand the kingdom of Heaven. I encountered the true fullness of Jesus and all the love He has to offer, which stirred me to not hold back in telling people about the truth that changed my life. I heard the Lord so clearly during my DTS to pursue long term missions in nations outside of America, and to be the hands and feet of Jesus in places where He is not known, worshipped, or welcomed.

I am directing my efforts for long term missions in pioneering different prayer rooms, or expansion of YWAM bases in Japan which happens to be the second largest unreached people group in the world! As a Japanese-American, I understand the role I play in order to help serve God in efforts to spread Jesus to my own culture and people group.

I am going to continue my pursuit of long term missions by taking the practical steps in leadership by staffing at YWAM Kona. As a full time missionary and staff, I will be leading students whether as a room leader or an outreach leader to different spheres in the world, in order to help carry the Light into the dark places of the world.

Whether through evangelism, serving, teaching, or ministering, our goal is to make God known and give God the glory and honor that He deserves. We will go anywhere to continue to spread the love of Jesus to people who do not know about the fullness that God has to offer them

Would you prayerfully consider partnering with me in prayer or as a monthly supporter in order to help partner with God and the ministry He has called me into.

Thank you,
