We Are the Heils

We’re Austin and Hannah Heil, a family of four living and serving in the Philippines and building Day One International, a movement rooted in hope, obedience, and restored lives.

Day One exists to help people discover their God-given calling and live it out faithfully in everyday life. We believe that when people encounter hope and walk in obedience to Jesus, restoration begins…in individuals, families, and communities.

Right now, our work through Day One is focused in three primary ways:

Day One Coffee: a startup coffee shop creating dignified jobs, fostering community, and serving as a space for discipleship and formation.

Mothers in Crisis: walking alongside mothers facing moments of instability or transition, offering support, community, and pathways toward restoration.

College & young adult discipleship: investing in students and young leaders, helping them explore faith, purpose, and calling during a formative season of life.

As a family, we are fully support-raised and do not take personal income from any business initiatives. Financial partnership allows us to remain present in the communities we serve and fully invested in building Day One with faithfulness and care.
