I’m a planner. I love having a plan for every circumstance. But during my time at YWAM, the Lord has been teaching me that I can’t plan everything — because sometimes my plans get in the way of His. Back in high school, I asked the Lord if nursing was part of my future, and He said yes. Being the planner I am, I ran with that answer. But when I visited YWAM Mazatlán in February 2025, God began stirring something entirely different in my heart. On the plane ride home, I realized His confirmation wasn’t about nursing school — it was about YWAM and returning. That week, I applied for the Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Mazatlán, expecting it to be a short season before nursing school. Yet while there, the Lord asked me a piercing question: “Are you putting an assignment in front of your calling?” That moment shifted everything, reminding me that His call to travel, preach the gospel, and step into uncomfortable places was greater than my own plans.

Since then, God has been opening doors that stretch and grow me. After much prayer and reflection, I believe He is asking me to put nursing on hold and step fully into missions with YWAM. Beginning April, 2026, I will join the ARTIOS Internship in Mazatlán — a 12-week program preparing me to transition onto staff by mid-June. Through classes, service, and immersion in community, I’ll grow spiritually and practically, even earning University of the Nations credits. After ARTIOS, I will step directly onto staff in training and mobilization. This ministry focuses on equipping and sending out young people, aligning passion with purpose, and preparing them to serve effectively. It’s about moving vision into action, and I feel deeply honored to step into this role.

Stepping into full-time missions is a huge step of faith, and I cannot do it alone. Missionaries depend on the prayers and partnership of others because we serve in places where resources are limited and the needs are great. I’m inviting you to partner with me in two ways: first, through prayer and intercession — lifting me up daily, sharing encouragement, and interceding for upcoming projects and ministry opportunities. Second, through financial support — I am seeking to raise approximately $2,000 USD monthly to cover housing, food, staff fees, mobilization, and ministry expenses. Some may feel led to give monthly, while others may support specific projects or urgent needs. My goal is to have monthly partners in place by mid-March so I can be fully prepared for the transition in April.

I’ve learned that while I love to plan, the Lord’s plans are always greater than mine. Nursing remains a dream I carry, but right now God has made it clear that my calling is to step fully into missions with YWAM. His timing is perfect, even when it looks different than what I imagined. I’m choosing to trust His ways, His timing, and His plan — believing wholeheartedly that He will lead me exactly where I need to be.

Thank you for considering walking this journey with me. Your prayers, encouragement, and support mean more than I can express. Together, we can share Jesus, build community, and bring hope to people who may have never heard the Gospel.
