My name is Abir, and I am from India. I did not grow up in a Christian household, but in 2016, while staying with my cousins during college, I was introduced to Jesus and began learning about the Gospel. Through prayer, fellowship, and the faithful witness of others, I came to know Jesus personally and eventually surrendered my life to Him. In 2024, I came to YWAM Muizenberg in South Africa for my Discipleship Training School (DTS), where I was baptized and grew deeper in my relationship with God.

After completing DTS, I returned to India and served for two years in a red-light ministry in Kolkata. During that season, God continued to transform my life and place a growing desire in my heart to serve among the nations, especially in Africa. I am now serving as DTS staff at YWAM Muizenberg, where I help disciple, encourage, and walk alongside students as they grow in their relationship with God and discover their calling.

I believe God is also leading me into a new season of ministry in Zambia. I am preparing to go there in October to serve alongside local ministries, build relationships with people, share the Gospel, and serve communities in practical ways. My desire is to make Jesus known, love people well, and remain available to wherever God leads me.

I cannot do this journey alone, and I am inviting others to partner with me. First and foremost, I need people who will pray for me—for wisdom, protection, spiritual growth, provision, and for the people and communities I will serve. I am also trusting God to provide around $500 USD per month for my basic living expenses, transportation, and ministry-related needs, as well as additional support for my travel to and from Zambia.
