Howdy! Welcome to my ministry landing page.
My Assignment:
For years, my heart has been to serve people wherever God opens the door—whether in the church, in the community, or in places where hope is deeply needed. This past year I had the honor of serving as a Hospital Chaplain Resident at Houston Methodist Willowbrook, walking alongside patients and families in moments that required faith, compassion, and prayer.
During this season, God began stirring something new in my heart. Today, I am stepping into that calling by joining Nations House of Prayer in the inner-city of Houston, committing this next season of my life to serve, grow, and help bring prayer, worship, and outreach to our city.
Cool…but what is Nations House of Prayer?!
Nations House of Prayer was birthed from Coreluv International, a ministry that has been defending orphans around the globe since 2011. Founders Mike and Mandy Reizner are from Houston and God put in on their hearts to find a building in the heart of the city to lift up praise, worship, and intercession to King Jesus as a local expression of the global ministry. This building also functions as a school to disciple believers, a hub of blessing to the surrounding community, and a place to equip missionaries to go to the “nations”!!!!
My Functions:
I will be serving in the prayer room as a Levite. This term was used in the Old Testament to describe the people who tended to the sanctuary and played music for the Lord. I also hope to invest in discipling and raising up other Levites, encouraging young adults in Nations School, and potentially leading students and church members on outreach visits to nearby college campuses to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. With the University of Houston and TSU only a few blocks from our building, we’re already beginning to see opportunities to connect with students.
My Testimony and my Why:
I was barely 3 months sober from a crippling addiction to drugs and alcohol at the beginning of 2017, when I was walking through the free speech area of Texas Tech Campus. In the last two years, I totaled two cars, one crash leading to the ICU and the other to jail… I needed Jesus. An outreach team was outside boldly declaring the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In this moment, my heart opened up to Jesus Christ for the first time and the light of Christ’s love shone on my heart and began to change my life forever. Fast forward to September 10th, of 2025 when political activist and believer, Charlie Kirk, got assassinated on a campus tour where he shared his faith openly and debated with students about his biblical convictions and political topics. I was working as a hospital chaplain at the time and knew that a fire was lighting up in my heart to evangelize the lost without reservation. It is a costly decision to walk in the light of Jesus Christ without compromise. I was rocked to the core as I saw Charlie Kirk become a martyr and it reminded me of the day on my college campus where I was introduced to my Savior. I step into this new assignment with boldness and joy, as I look forward to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ through my actions, music, and leadership. Come, Lord Jesus.
My Ask:
Would you prayerfully consider joining my monthly prayer and financial support team in order to multiply the Kingdom of God in downtown Houston and beyond?
I would be honored to partner with you.
