House of Prayer Egypt is a year-round space for prayer, fasting, intercession, discipleship and encounter with God — based in Egypt and open to all who want to come and be still before Him.

For over sixteen years, thousands of people have come through these doors — for Bible Marathons, Prayer Schools, Emmaus Encounter conferences, discipleship courses for young adults, evangelistic outreaches, and personal prayer retreats. A four-year theology seminary has been held here. Lives have been shaped here.

We are a member of the Evangelical Alliance of Egypt and serve under the Presidency of the Protestant Churches of Egypt.

Every dollar given through this page goes directly toward:

• Bible Marathons & Prayer Schools — gatherings that ignite hunger for God's Word and create deep encounters with Him

• Emmaus Encounter Conferences — multi-day conference where we study the scripture from a missional perspective

• Discipleship Courses for Young Adults 18-25 — equipping the next generation to know, follow and serve Jesus 

• Local Outreaches — evangelism and compassion teams going into villages and cities where the Gospel is needed the most

• House of Prayer Egypt running costs — keeping the space open, staffed, and available year-round for all who come

• Back to school project — providing school bags and supplies to children in under-served communities, in partnership with local churches, every September

This is not a program. These are real lives — real stories of impact.

A church leader came to a Bible Marathon not knowing what to expect. He left so stirred and encouraged by God's Word that he went home and started a weekly Word-focused meeting in his church. That meeting is still running today.

A young woman has been coming to House of Prayer Egypt since 2017. God gave her clarity and direction for her future — her calling, her vision, her path. At our Emmaus Encounter in March 2026, she shared her story with deep gratitude for the role the House of Prayer has played in shaping her life.

A woman arrived at the House of Prayer desperate — carrying deep pain from her workplace and a heaviness that had settled into depression. In the quiet of the House of Prayer she encountered the Lord. She gave her life to Jesus, and He has been at work in her ever since.

Moheb and Kim Mina founded the house of prayer and served the church in Egypt for over twenty years — equipping leaders, mobilising the church for discipleship and prayer, and building spaces where people can encounter God.

If you would like to give toward a specific need, here are our two most immediate priorities this year:

📖 Bible Marathons, Prayer Schools & Emmaus Conferences $12,000 / year This covers 6 Bible & Prayer Marathons, 2 Prayer Schools, 2 Emmaus Encounter conferences, and 2 Discipleship Schools for Young Adults throughout the year. These gatherings are the heartbeat of the ministry — equipping believers, igniting hunger for God's Word, and creating deep encounters with Him. 30 monthly partners giving $34/month fully covers this for the entire year.

🏠 House of Prayer Egypt — Annual Running Costs $24,000 / year This keeps House of Prayer Egypt open, staffed, and active throughout the year — a space dedicated to continuous intercession, discipleship and encounter with God. Without this, the doors close. Currently, faithful partners have covered 50% — $12,000 still open for partners to join"
