Missionary Amira Rebbavarapu DONATE Hi, welcome to my page! My name is Amira Rebbavarapu and I am on staff with YWAM (Youth With A Mission). I am currently a part of the ministry Counter Culture School of Apologetics, the only apologetics ministry in YWAM so far!! We are a ministry that was pioneered 5 years ago in Kona by a word of the Lord to Jenn Wilson, specifically to equip people who have done the SBS (School of Biblical Studies). The SBS is a 9 month school that takes students through an inductive study of every book in the Bible. Through this intensive program, students read through the entirety of scripture 5 times while compiling nearly 2,000 hours of dedicated study to the word of God. So the School of Apologetics is a 3 month school that equips these Bible students to use their knowledge as fuel to communicate and defend the faith effectively. It is now in the process of being expanded to a year round ministry as well as the 3 month school! I grew up in missions in South India, so I've actually been in ministry for all (except 5 years of) my life! Though I knew who Jesus was in my head I met Jesus powerfully in 2021. I was in a service repenting to God, when I heard the voice of the Holy Spirit and he spoke, “It’s time we move on from this topic of the things i’ve already cleansed you of, don’t you know that I am more than just a cleaner of sin, I am the God of JOY, PEACE, LOVE, MERCY, RIGHTEOUSNESS” and in a moment He broke every box I had put Him in all my life. After this I did a Discipleship Training School with YWAM, and went on a 3 month outreach to Cameroon and San Francisco. On this trip, the Lord taught me the honor of serving Him and in December 2021, I made the commitment to ministry. I asked the Lord “I know I don’t know what I’m signing up for, but I just want to be used by you, I want to be a part of what you are doing”. I now live my life to proclaim His excellencies in any capacity and to whoever that He asks me to (1 Peter 2:9). I have committed two years to the Counterculture School of Apologetics, which will run 9 months out of the year. What Will This Look Like? • Speaking in the community • Hosting Q&A’s • Speaking in other YWAM schools and bases • Discipling Bible students to communicate and defend the faith. This position with YWAM is entirely volunteer, as all positions with YWAM are. I have been living 100% by faith the last two years now! Missionary Anna Curless DONATE Hello! My name is Anna Curless and I am a full time missionary with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Circuit Riders located in Huntington Beach, California. Circuit Riders is a missional movement empowered by YWAM whose mission statement is to save the lost, revive the saved, and train them all. Our mission field is middle schools, high schools, and universities throughout the United States and Europe. I first heard about Circuit Riders in the spring of 2022 as I was falling into wholehearted love with Jesus. I started having dreams and visions about joining Circuit Riders. Although I didn’t fully grasp their mission, I felt that the Lord was calling me to join them. In a leap of faith, I applied to the DTS (Discipleship Training School) – 3 months of lectures and practicals of life in love with Jesus and as a missionary, and 3 months applying these skills on outreach. My team and I visited over 20 college campuses in the Southern United States. We introduced thousands of young adults to the gospel of Jesus Christ and proclaimed the freedom that He gives! We witnessed young people’s hunger for a move of God, and we witnessed His desire and willingness to move in His people. Once I returned home from DTS in March, I realized that the very thing my heart burns for is the mission of Circuit Riders. I desire to see my generation free from suicide, anxiety, depression, and the all-too-normalized partying lifestyle. I have seen firsthand that the gospel transforms hearts and minds! There is such a hunger in my generation for more, and I firmly believe the object of their desire is Jesus. Missionary Latif Jacob DONATE I am pastor Latif Jacob, and I have been working as a pastor since I was 20 years old. God has called me for His kingdom, for His people and for the betterment of His people. I am working with Pakistani Christian refugees who escape from Pakistan and relocate here in Italy to save his/her life from Islamic extremist muslims. First we provide them shelter, we have a project called "House of New Hope" where we accommodate our refugee brothers, sisters and children. Then we provide them with legal aid and social activities to integrate with Italian culture. We are working on how to strengthen family unity, the head of the family, women's empowerment, youth and child evangelism, Sunday schools and orphans. We also work with people who are escaping from brick kiln slavery in Pakistan by paying their debts for their freedom. This is our heart pain to rebuild the families and strengthen them. We have rented a house for our " House of New Hope" but since July the contract is over and the owner of this house is not willing to do a contract again so we need to buy a new house. During this time, I completed my Discipleship Training School (DTS) and a Preachers Seminar. I also continued on to join staff, where I’ve grown in my relationship with God and developed a deeper passion for missions, discipleship, and sharing the Gospel. This season has challenged me, stretched my faith, and given me countless opportunities to see God move in powerful ways. As I've served here, God has also given me a deep love and heart for the people of Mexico. Through the relationships I've built and the communities I've served, I've come to see His love for this nation in a new way and have grown in my desire to be part of what He is doing here. A big part of my ministry has been building relationships, sharing my faith, discipling believers, and helping equip others to follow Jesus. Missionary Maddy Miller DONATE My name is Madalyn Miller and I am a full-time missionary from North Carolina! Currently I am full-time with a ministry called "Lifebearers." Lifebearers is a year-round ministry with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. YWAM is a global missionary organization that focuses on missionary training and sending. The Lifebearers ministry focuses on family restoration, crisis intervention and maternal healthcare. We believe maternal healthcare creates one of the most powerful opportunities to build relationships with families and draw people into encounters that lead to salvation and transformation. Our vision is to see the truth about identity, motherhood, and God-given purpose meet the practical needs of pregnant and new moms—sparking revival and genuine heart change. Before stepping into full-time ministry, I earned my Master of Social Work and spent over two years working as an Investigative Child Protective Services Social Worker. In that role, I found myself face-to-face with families caught in generational cycles of brokenness. Day after day, I witnessed the enemy’s attempts to distort and destroy God’s intention for family, and it grieved me deeply. I couldn’t shake the ache inside me that whispered, “There has to be more for families than this.” This became the doorway to my calling. I said yes to God because I long to see transformation within the foster care system — and I believe I will see that happen through Lifebearers. We’ve already seen countless testimonies of families here in Kona who, through intentional support and intervention, have been stabilized and strengthened before crises led to removal. Together, we’re watching God rewrite stories and preserve families from the inside out. Kona carries significant needs when it comes to family care. Some of the biggest injustices we see on the island include trafficking, abortion, substance use, and neglect within the foster care system. Our team believes these cycles can be broken when families are supported, strengthened, and rooted in God’s design. Missionary Lazarous Mkandawire DONATE My name is Lazarous Mkandawire, and I am from Zambia. My story is one of God's grace, faithfulness, and redemption. As a young man, I experienced rejection from my own family. Because of the hardships and emotional abuse I endured, I eventually found myself living on the streets and spending much of my time at Mtendere Market in Lusaka. Those were some of the darkest moments of my life. I knew what it felt like to be hungry, rejected, forgotten, and without hope. But God had not forgotten me. In the middle of that difficult season, the Lord used a compassionate family to help me. They opened their hearts to me, encouraged me, and gave me hope when I had almost given up. Through God's grace and their kindness, I was given an opportunity that completely changed my life; a scholarship to study Civil Engineering in China. Moving to China was more than an academic journey; it became a spiritual journey. While studying there, the Lord began placing a strong burden on my heart for missions. At first, I did not fully understand what He was calling me to do. I believed it would be wiser to complete my degree first and then pursue ministry after graduation. As I continued praying, God opened doors for ministry even while I was still a student. Despite the challenges of sharing the Christian faith in China, I started a Christian fellowship at my university. Week after week, students gathered to pray, worship, study God's Word, and encourage one another. By God's grace, what began as a small gathering grew into a fellowship of nearly one hundred people. Watching lives transformed by the Gospel strengthened my conviction that God was calling me into full-time missions. After graduating, I returned home expecting life to become easier. Instead, I entered another difficult season. The same people who had once supported me began to emotionally distance themselves as I struggled to find employment. Once again, I found myself facing uncertainty and rejection. Yet through every disappointment, one thing became clearer—the voice of God. The call to missions became stronger and stronger. Unable to ignore His leading any longer, I started a small prayer group where believers could gather to seek God together and encourage one another. Every prayer meeting confirmed what God had already been speaking into my heart for years: He was calling me to dedicate my life completely to His mission. After much prayer, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life. I chose to leave behind my career plans and answer God's call by joining Youth With A Mission (YWAM) through the Discipleship Training School (DTS). Because I had very little, I sold the few possessions I owned to begin this journey of obedience, trusting that God would provide the rest. Today, I am stepping forward in faith. My vision is much bigger than myself. Having experienced life on the streets, my heart burns for children and young people who feel forgotten. My dream is to establish ministries that will rescue vulnerable children, disciple them in the Word of God, and equip them with practical skills that will help them build sustainable futures. As an engineer, I desire to teach practical and vocational skills that can create opportunities for employment and self-reliance. As a musician who plays four musical instruments, I also hope to train young people in music, using worship and creativity as tools for discipleship and transformation. My prayer is that they would not only discover careers but also discover Christ. Another dream God has placed on my heart is to return to China as a missionary. Because I can speak Chinese, I believe God has uniquely prepared me to minister there and to reach people with the Gospel. I also believe He will lead me to other nations as He opens doors, fulfilling His Great Commission wherever He sends me. Jesus commanded us in Matthew 28:19–20: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." This Scripture has become the foundation of my calling. I cannot accomplish this mission alone. Throughout Scripture, God has always worked through people partnering together. Jesus Himself invited His disciples to join Him in His mission. In the same way, I humbly invite you to become part of what God is doing through my life. Your prayers are just as important as your financial support. Every prayer you pray, every gift you give, and every word of encouragement you offer becomes part of every life that will be touched through this ministry. By partnering with me, you are helping take the Gospel to communities, to vulnerable children, to young people searching for hope, to China, and to the nations wherever God leads.
