Missionary Kira Hietala DONATE Hi, I’m Kira Hietala I’m 22 year old, and my life changed when I said yes to Jesus at 18. That yes began with my DTS at YWAM Kona, and it set me on a path of full-time missions. Since joining YWAM, I’ve been so blessed to be part of many life-changing opportunities Leadership Track, a Discipleship Bible School, staffing a Discipleship Bible School and a Discipleship training school with YWAM Ships Kona, leading an outreach team, living and serving in Papua New Guinea for almost a year, co leading the kitchen at YWAM Ships Kona as staff to serve the base community, and completing a Bible for Life School in Norway with YWAM. These are just some of the things God has allowed me to be part of since stepping into missions. God has given me such a deep love for the Bible, a heart for discipleship, and a desire for people to know God’s Word for themselves and truly come to know Jesus. Missions isn’t just what I do it’s what I’ve been called to give my life to. EquipNet is simply the platform I use to invite others into this journey. In YWAM, we don’t receive a paycheck full-time missions is completely support-based. Missionary Kiriki Majima DONATE Hi, I am Kiriki Kupono Majima! Thank you so much for your heart to support me. I was born in Hawaii and grew up in Japan until graduating high school. I graduated from Bible College majored in pastoral ministry. I graduated with a Master of Formational Leadership in May 2024 from Lancaster Bible College to get trained to do ministry in Japan. I am going back to Japan in August 2024 or January, 2025. The reason why I want to do ministry in Japan is because of the percentage of Christians. It is said, that in Japan there is only one percent of the population that is Christian. As I went to a secular public school for 12 years from elementary school to high school, I only met one Christian friend. This broke my heart because that literally means they will not have eternal life. For some reason, God very graciously chose me to be a pastor's kid in a country like Japan and revealed himself at a time I could accept the love of God. And God called me to be a minister. I strongly feel the conviction of needing to do God's work in Japan. I have a passion for evangelism and discipleship for Japan. Missionary Melody Hays DONATE Hi! My name is Melody Hays and I am 20 years old! I am originally from Auburn Alabama, but currently live in Nashville Tennessee. A little bit about me, I grew up in a Christian household with 5 older siblings. I’ve had a relationship with Jesus most of my life, but I haven’t always wanted to live for Him. That changed in July of 2023, when Jesus help me see what I was missing by not giving Him my everything. Now all I care to do is live to please Him and glorify His name. I have the opportunity to go to a missionary school called YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in Kona, Hawaii. I am wanting to attend their all women’s ministry called Brave Love, where they raise and equip women in their original design. My biggest passion besides Jesus is dance! Brave Love has a new dance track that I will be trained in. My goal is to be schooled at YWAM and become a missionary that helps with sex trafficking. This school is only my first step. Being invited to their Monday nights and Green Houses for the past two years, being met with people that are on fire for the Lord and being touched by presence of God at Circuit Riders, has made me hungry for more of the Lord, more community, and for more people to know Jesus the way He has met me with such a Fatherly and Holy love. Circuit Riders is a mission-driven community located in Huntington Beach, California, focused on reaching and transforming this generation. Our passion is to make evangelism a widespread movement across America. We believe a new Jesus movement is already underway, and we're committed to fueling it. Through various mission initiatives, training programs, and campaigns, we equip leaders, mobilize believers, and encourage our generation to live and love like Jesus. Circuit Riders operates in partnership with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). This has been on my heart for a while and a burning passion that has been very persistent throughout these past couple of months. MISSIONARY Annabelle Cooke DONATE Hi! I’m AnnaBelle Cooke, a full-time missionary with Fire & Fragrance South Africa. Fire & Fragrance is a ministry that falls under the covering of Youth With A Mission (YWAM). In January of 2020, I began my journey with YWAM. I first enrolled in a DTS (Discipleship Training School) in Kona, Hawaii. During my DTS, The Lord began to speak to me about being a missionary and traveling to different nations. After my DTS, I returned to Kona for a nine-month school called Revival and Reformation. During my studies, I learned all about God’s word, His world, and how to steward Revival and Reformation on the mission field in every area of society. After the nine months ended, I felt The Lord releasing me to go into the nations! After I completed school in Kona, the opportunity arose to visit the Fire & Fragrance base in South Africa for an internship. At the beginning of September 2021, I arrived in Potchefstroom, South Africa, for my internship. While I was there, I accepted the offer to return as a full-time missionary. I am excited that South Africa will be my home for the next three years! At Fire & Fragrance South Africa, we serve the local community, while also training and equipping missionaries to serve on the field. The base has five specific focal points. The five focal points include Worship/ Prayer, Evangelism, Training, Media, and Ending Bible Poverty. We believe that through these five focal points, we will see a revival spark in the Nation of South Africa that will lead to reformation and spread to the ends of the earth! We are already seeing God move in unprecedented ways in South Africa and the surrounding nations. As a staff member with YWAM, I do not receive a salary. All of my income is earned through individual fundraising. The Lord has provided every need and I am confident that He will continue to do so!
