Growing up I noticed that majority of young people have a hunger to be mentored and discipled but there is a lack of people willing to consistently pour into their lives in the good times and the bad, so I made this my life’s mission. To train young women to lead in love, shift culture, follow the command of the Great Commission, and see their life as an opportunity to serve God and the people around them. I have organized and led a tour, helped train young people in different cities and countries in evangelism, serve them locally in Huntington Beach, and will be stepping into a season of leading a house of young women in training for the mission field. Missionary Sarah Newhard DONATE Hi friends! I'm Sarah Newhard, a full time missionary with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in Kona, Hawaii. I'm a part of a community called Fire & Fragrance, which is focused on training and sending Gen-Z to the nations to share the Gospel. We want to develop young leaders that carry fire in their hearts for Jesus that becomes the fragrance of Christ to the lost. We long to know God and make Him known throughout the whole world. We believe Jesus is the desire of the nations and only He can bring light and restoration to the darkest places. A little over 2 years ago, I had an encounter with Jesus that entirely changed my life. In a moment He set me free from years of anxiety and depression, showing me a fullness of life and joy I had never known before. He began to stir my heart for more of Him, so in January of 2023 I did my DTS (Discipleship Training School) in Kona, and that's where Jesus truly set my heart on fire for missions. I had the opportunity to spend 3 months on outreach in Colombia, where I saw firsthand the power of the Gospel to bring freedom and healing to the lost and broken. During those 6 months, I truly came to know that Jesus is worthy of everything and there's no sweeter place to be than in the center of His will for my life. During my DTS, I felt the Lord calling me to come back and work on staff with YWAM, helping to disciple and equip other young people in their callings. So, last fall I went back to Hawaii and spent 3 months in leadership training, 3 months discipling students, and 3 months leading an outreach team to Papua New Guinea. During my time in PNG I learned and grew so much in dependency on the Lord. I got to see the Lord move not only in the people of PNG, but also in my students as they stepped out in faith and boldness, preaching the Gospel in villages, markets, schools, and hospitals. It was truly the most beautiful season of growth and falling even more deeply in love with Jesus. This fall I’m very excited to be heading back to YWAM to staff another year! From September-December I’ll be in South Africa doing leadership training at the YWAM base in Potchefstroom. After that I hope to head back to Kona for 3 months, where I’ll lead the Fire and Fragrance School again, and after that I’ll lead another 3 month outreach to a different nation. I am so expectant for what the Lord wants to do this year in the nations and am so honored to be a part of the story He’s writing. I've personally seen the power of the Gospel radically transform my life and set me free, and I believe God wants to do the same for all of His children. Missionary Emmanuel Godo DONATE Hello Friends! My name is Emmanuel and I am with a missions organization named Fire and Fragrance. I completed my DTS with F&F in Nashville a month ago. For my outreach I went to Nepal! While being in Nepal, I was gripped by the missional heart of the father and my perspective was completely changed. For the first time, I felt a deep longing to fulfill my role in the great commission, and I felt the Lord calling me to the nations long term! However, in prayer and preparation to eventually move long term as a laborer in the field, I believe the next assignment the Lord is calling me into is a Bible school! April 9th, I plan on going back to Nashville to begin the 3 month Misio Dei Bible school with Fire and Fragrance. During this school, we will study the Bible in depth from Genesis to Revelation, understanding God’s mission. Through this season devoted to the scriptures, my hope is that I would gain a deeper and more biblical revelation of Jesus than ever before. That as I grow in understanding of God’s mission, my heart would only align more and more with the passion of the Lord, which is that every nation, tribe, and tongue would come to know him. I will also be equipped with tools to correctly study and interpret the Bible, hands on training to prepare me for the mission field, and learning to teach the Bible and use God’s word to transform Individuals and nations. Missionary Donevan Rolle DONATE Hello, my name is Donevan! I have the honor of serving with the EveryHeart Movement, which has now become a Youth With A Mission (YWAM) base in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Our heart as a Movement is simple yet urgent: to see every heart encountered by the tangible love of Jesus—and then sent out to carry that same love to the ends of the earth. We believe God is answering the prayer for more laborers, and He has called us to be part of that answer. My own life has been transformed by this mission. I first joined EveryHeart to participate in the very first Discipleship Training School (DTS) through YWAM. At the time, I didn’t know fully what I was stepping into—but what I discovered was the most precious gift I’ll carry for the rest of my life: a real, living relationship with Jesus. It was in that season at the EveryHeart school that I not only encountered Jesus in a new way, but also began preaching the Gospel for the very first time. As I stepped out in boldness, I saw people encounter the love of God right in front of me, and it changed me forever. Alongside that, I was receiving weekly training, being discipled, and discovering my true purpose: to know God and to make Him known. My Current Roles Today I get to invest my life into raising up others who will carry this same mission. Some of the ways I am serving include: Staffing the next DTS – Discipling students in our upcoming school launching in February, while helping with interviews, applications, and preparation in the meantime. Leading Worship – Leading weekly gatherings at the EveryHeart Building and in our Prayer Room. Reaching College Campuses – Helping lead worship on campuses every Monday night, creating space for students to encounter God. Summer Tour Leadership – Leading a team to take the Gospel across cities and campuses during the EveryHeart Summer Tour. How You Can Partner I cannot do this alone. Missionary Christabel Mhizha DONATE Hello, my name is Christabel Mhizha. The Lord has ignited a passion in my heart for missions, particularly in combating human trafficking. Last year, I attended YWAM, a six-month mission school, where I journeyed to Papua New Guinea, an isolated island in the Pacific. It was a transformative experience that deepened my understanding of the Lord's desire to bring hope and freedom to His children. God continued to burden my heart for the brokenness in our world. Over the past six months, my passion for ending human trafficking has grown significantly. Jesus has imparted His heart for justice to me, and I have immersed myself in learning more about this great injustice. During my time in Papua New Guinea, I ministered to children who were victims of injustice, and the Lord truly shared His heart for His children with me. He has shown me that there is no greater purpose in my life than to follow wherever He leads. Through prayer and seeking His will, I believe He is calling me to another season of ministry in the field, specifically among victims of human trafficking. I feel a strong calling to serve anti-human trafficking efforts worldwide, bringing hope and freedom through sharing the Gospel. "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." Missionary Minou Andrianjaka Nahary DONATE My name is Andrianjaka Nahary Minou, and I am 33 years old from Madagascar. I grew up in a humble family and experienced many hardships during my childhood. Together with my seven siblings, we faced difficult circumstances and often lacked many of the things we needed. As I look back on my life, I can see how God has been guiding me and shaping my heart. Through my own experiences, I have developed a deep compassion for children who are growing up in poverty and difficult situations, just as I did. I believe God is calling me to serve as a missionary and to bring hope, encouragement, and practical support to children and families in need. To prepare for this calling, I am currently attending the Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Muizenberg, South Africa. Through DTS, I am growing in my relationship with God, learning more about His purpose for my life, and being equipped to serve others effectively. As part of DTS, I will participate in an outreach mission where I will have the opportunity to share God’s love, serve communities, and support people both spiritually and practically. MISSIONARY Francis & Andrea Frizelle DONATE Francis & Andrea have been on the mission field ever since getting married over ten years ago (and both had missions experience prior to that!) and can currently be found in Puerto Barrios, Guatemala in Central America. Locally, they now work with Pure Joy Missions ( www.purejoymissions.org ) helping kids, teens and the elderly who are most in need in the community. They have previous experience working with Youth With A Mission ( www.ywam.org ) helping mums' and mens' ministries, distributing Bibles, feeding the homeless, running discipleship training, and more. Their experience also includes helping with hosting short-term teams, managing base finances, heading up communications, and other administrative work. More recently, they have stepped out of the leadership of the local team in Puerto Barrios (whilst remaining members of the team) to focus more on international teaching, working for and developing training with Exago Ministries ( www.exago.org ) to help other missionaries develop their own teams of ministry partners. Their vision is to see missionaries properly equipped to be able not just to survive on the mission field, but thrive in all that God has called them to.
