Missionary Rachel McGovern DONATE Hi! My name is Rachel McGovern, I’m 21 years old and from Alaska :) I’m currently a part of YWAM (Youth With A Mission) whose vision is to know God and to make God known. I’m enrolled to start a 3 month Bible school in April with YWAM Amsterdam, followed by an outreach to the nations. My calling from the Lord is to see my generation fall in love with Jesus and be marked as a generation of joy and boldness not addiction and fear. To help steward this vision, God has called me into a season of studying and immersing myself in his Word. During my time in Amsterdam I’ll also be asking God for direction on what’s next. God has been so faithful to provide for me as I’ve been taking these steps of faith into ministry. I’ve been so encouraged by the generosity of the body of Christ, which enabled me to do a training school with YWAM Kona and to go spread the gospel in South Africa last year. Now I’m trusting God for this next season of ministry for provision. Missionary Keslyn Peterson DONATE Hi, all! My name is Keslyn Peterson and for the last two years, I’ve been serving as a missionary with YWAM (Youth With A Mission). The heartbeat of YWAM is to “know God and make God known”. Since saying YES to God to serve as a long term missionary in 2021, I have completed a first year school called DTS (Discipleship Training School) and a secondary school called SBS (School of Biblical Studies) with YWAM. Over the course of these 2 years, I have had the absolute blessing and privilege to preach the gospel, serve, and intercede in Hawaii, Egypt, Djibouti, Mexico, Australia, and Fiji! But this is just the beginning… During DTS, our ministry primarily focused on street evangelism, serving at risk youth, and and prayer walks through Muslim nations (Egypt & Djibouti), and we ended our time with a school debrief in Mexico, where we saw many salvations, baptisms, and healings! During the 9 month intensive course of SBS, we read and studied all 66 books of the Bible 5 to 7 times through, and applied what we had learned with an additional 2 month outreach to Fiji, where we taught the Inductive Bible Study Method to churches, pastors, and elders. So, what’s next??? I’m glad you asked! Since joining YWAM, God has gripped and burned my heart for long term missions. It was in the fall of 2022 that the Lord placed the nation of India on my heart. Confirmation after confirmation, He began opening doors and divine connections for me to pursue this calling with a trip to India in 2024!!! During this trip, my prayer and hope is to go and experience the people, culture, and diverse ministry options that the Lord may be calling me into. I am SO excited & expectant to see all that the Lord has on his heart for His bride of India. Matthew 28:18-20 says to GO & MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit… I am dedicated, passionate, and am willing to sacrifice my whole life to see the Great Commission finished. Missionary Rylie Greenlees DONATE Hi! My name is Rylie Greenlees, I am a missionary. I have served in Brisbane, Australia, and now serving in Montana. I am partnering with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), specifically YWAM Montana Lakeside. There, I will be doing a School of Biblical Studies, which is a 9 month school with an optional outreach at the end, that I plan on participating in. After School of Biblical Studies, I plan to stay with YWAM Montana and do another school called the Titus Project. This is where you take the teaching method you learn during a School of Biblical Studies, and apply to an 8 week outreach. During a School of Biblical Studies, you learn the Inductive Bible Study Method which includes these three steps: Observation, Interpretation, and Application. You use these steps to discover the truth for yourself directly from the text. You first go through the New Testament, and with the understanding of the covenant we are currently under, you then read through the Old Testament, all while using the Inductive Bible Study Method. During these 9 months I won’t just be studying the Bible, but I will also be engaging in weekly times of prayer, worship, and fellowship with many believers from around the world. Being in fellowship with other believers while studying the Bible is a great way to deepen understanding and growth in your personal relationship with the Lord. Thank you so much for your support!
