Missionary Caio Silva DONATE Hi friends! My name is Caio Silva, I'm from Brazil, but I am living in the United States working as a full-time missionary with YWAM Kona. I grew up in the church, but was truly encountered by the truth and power of the gospel when I was in my 20s. Since then, my heart has been marked for seeing young people encounter the real man person of Jesus, fall in love with Him and live a wholehearted life pursuing Him. I currently work for a ministry underneath YWAM Kona called Fire and Fragrance. We run six-month discipleship training schools where young people can come to know God deeper and make Him known in the nations of the earth. These 6 months are divided into two portions: a 3-month lecture phase and a 3-month outreach. I staff both of these portions, the first in Kona on the campus and then the second somewhere across the earth. Long term in ministry, though, my vision and goals are to see youth movements erupt across the earth - whether in communities in the states or hard, closed nations. I long to see this generation swept up in the beauty and glory of Jesus and am willing to partner with Him in any way He would ask of me. As this is my full-time job, I live off of the generosity and financial support of those around me! I do not get any sort of payment or paycheck. Missionary Arvin Rivero DONATE Hi, my name is Arvin Rivero. Born and raised in the Philippines, I am a missionary and a true believer in Jesus as the first and only hope of our broken world. Before I became a YWAMer, I had already been involved in a ministry that had kept my heart burning for Jesus. I served our local church as a leader since 2010 as part of the worship ministry, and as a part-time member for our church’s mission trips. I love Jesus, and all I wanted was to live life, serve God, and be a friend to as many people as God brings into my life. Until… In 2020, God called me to be a full-time missionary and serve with YWAM Impact Philippines. To lead international outreach teams, equip and train young leaders coming from different nations, be part of leading a national youth movement in the Philippines, and champion Filipinos. Quite broad and overwhelming? So, this is what our ministries look like when we view them from a practical perspective. • Compassion & Justice - Restoring dignity to those in prostitution, orphanage, and street communities • Impact Campaigns - Short-term missions creating long-term sustainable impact • The Send Movement - Activating youth for missional impact in every career and calling • Dental Collaborations - Serving hundreds of patients monthly in one of the world's top 10 worst dental nations • Origins Basketball - Using the Philippines' #1 sport (40M+ players) for missions • Team Extreme - Reaching nearly 1 million people through power stunts and gospel presentations • Life Bearers - Supporting women and children with health education and biblical family training • Music Immersion - Unleashing the prophetic voice of Filipinos through evangelistic arts • Prayer & Missions Movement - Believing for 24/7 prayer and worship for global breakthrough This is a lot, but this is just a proof of how ripe the field is in the Philippines. Just as Apostle Paul had churches that stood with him in prayer and provision, I believe God is calling partners today to share in the eternal reward of those who go. One of the greatest needs on the mission field is not just laborers, but people who will send laborers. I have a heart to win this generation back to Christ. Would you partner with me in that effort? Missionary Emily Perez DONATE Hi, my name is Emily! I recently graduated from the University of Houston, an easy choice since I’ve grown up just 30 minutes from campus in the Katy area. I grew up in a Christian household, but it wasn’t until my freshman year that I truly met God through a college ministry. I later became a leader in that same ministry and had the opportunity to walk alongside many college students as they took their next steps of faith. The process of sanctification in college wasn’t easy, but it developed in me a deep desire for the presence of God. I was hungry for more of God and wanted to know the Holy Spirit. That wonder and curiosity led me to become fascinated with the house of prayer and to find people who could teach me what it meant to experience the presence of God. After I graduated, I had opportunities to join the full-time staff of another ministry, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that the Lord was leading me to do the Nations School of Ministry and really set aside time to be with Him and finally pursue this deep desire in me to know the Holy Spirit and the depths of God. I spent this past year learning about the prayer room. What it looks like to minister to the Lord, and what it truly means to get rooted somewhere and learn to die to myself. It was a glorious year full of ups and downs, but the process of beholding the Lord as He takes us from glory to glory is life giving. I desire to spend the rest of my life looking to Him to perfect my faith until I look like Him. He was worth this whole past year. One of the greatest things God did in me this past year was give me a love for the community Nations is in. As I spent countless hours praying for the Third Ward, the inner city of Houston, specifically corporately in the prayer room, I realized that ministering to the Lord was changing the way I saw the people around me. He began replacing my apathy with a genuine burden for my neighbors to know Him and live for Him. The Third Ward faces real poverty, addiction, and brokenness, but I believe God wants to do a new thing here. And not only here, but for the fatherless around the world. The other foundational desire of Nations house of prayer was built from Coreluv, their nonprofit that works to defend the orphan. Right now Coreluv helps provide children in Haiti, South Asia and Honduras receive their six basic needs. Nations has made me aware of the passion God has for the orphan and how we can partner in prayer and action for the least of these. 1 Thessalonians 2:8 says, “Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.” I believe God has shown me that I am to share my life with this community in this next season. To love them sacrificially, as a friend, as a neighbor, and as someone who desperately wants to see the Gospel move in their lives. So, I find myself saying yes to a staff position here, just three blocks from where I attended college, in a role that allows me to use my degree in media production to share the glory of God and tell the story of what He is doing in our prayer room and outside the walls of our house. It’s crazy how God works! Years ago, He broke my heart for my classmates in this same area, and now I get to work for a ministry that cries out daily for the same college students to be saved. What God began forming in me during those years at UH, He is continuing to deepen as He roots me in this community. I’m excited to join this ministry and continue saying yes to what God is doing both in our neighborhood and around the world. It feels incredibly full-circle that the same place where God first began forming my heart for ministry is now the place where He is asking me to plant my life, serve my neighbors, and use the gifts He has given me for His glory. Missionary Grace Koster DONATE Hi! My name is Grace Koster and I am a missionary with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in Kona, Hawaii! YWAM is a non-profit missions organization that has as its goal: to see young people know God, and to make him known. I did my DTS (Discipleship Training School) in 2022, where my heart for missions grew. During DTS my heart was completely changed to fully understand God's love for me and for others. God revealed to me His heart for the lost and put me on fire for Him and the nations. God had called me to Brazil for my DTS outreach and in that time God showed me just how faithful he is. I was able to see so many Brazilians saying yes to The Great Commission and partner with God to see so many lives healed and saved! While in Brazil one of my roles was media for my team. During this time of growing my gift with God, He revealed to me the importance of my gift in missions. For the next 2 years I have committed to the join media team in Kona where I will be using media to reach our generation!! I will be serving on and off campus and have many opportunities to go to different nations to serve and partner with Gods heart to capture the nations in his eyes to show his love. Missionary Chanok & Jaelim Ko DONATE We have been serving with the YWAMCM in Thailand since January 2020, together with our two children. During our first four years in Thailand, we focused on evangelism and discipleship among people from C-Nations. Currently, we serve in YWAM’s Bible training programs, the School of Biblical Studies (SBS) and the Discipleship Bible School (DBS). In addition, we are involved in a soccer ministry for Thai children and serve with King’s Kids, YWAM’s ministry for the next generation. Missionary Cady Freeman DONATE Hi! my name is Cady Freeman, I am twenty years old and I love Jesus! God has absolutely changed my life, He has brought light to a darkness I never thought I would escape, He has poured out more love over me than I could ever imagine, and has continued to be faithful to me every single day. Not only has He saved me but He has entirely changed the trajectory of my life. Growing up being a missionary was never in my mind, in fact I would have just said I wanted to be a mom when I grow up. But God showed me just how great He is, and how many people do not know this. There are countless people who don't know who Jesus truly is or that He died for them, or even know His name! God has placed something on my heart that I can not ignore: millions of people going about their days not knowing God and the endless love He has for them. God has called me to go and to make disciples of all nations, including the US. I have an opportunity to serve on staff at YWAM Bozeman in Montana! YWAM stands for Youth With A Mission, it is a missions organization that desires to see young adults absolutely set on fire for the Lord see their lives changed by Him. Their mission is to send young people into the world as missionaries, whether that is going to the nations or working in business or becoming a teacher. Where ever you live, that is your mission field! While there I will get to staff a Discipleship Training School, I will walk along side the students and disciple them as they go through three months of "lecture phase." They will be in lectures varying anywhere from hearing the voice of God to what it looks like to live as a missionary. Then after lecture phase I will lead a team on outreach! My co-leader and I will lead some of the students to a country (where ever the Lord calls us to go) and we will lead the students in ministry there as well as continue to disciple them. The entire school is five and a half months long and it is designed to create a space and time for the students to encounter God in a powerful way and to set them up to be disciples who make disciples when they go home! I will also be serving the community in Bozeman and potentially traveling around the States to continue to preach the Gospel and fire up the believers in the States! I need your help, I truly can not do this without you. I need your financial support to be able to live this out! And you are just as much as a part of the work I am doing as I am.
