My name is Ryese, and I have been a missionary with Fire & Fragrance at YWAM(Youth With A Mission) Kona for one year now! The purpose of YWAM Kona is to grow in intimacy with God and reach the nations through short and long term missions.

The mission of YWAM is to equip people to step into the great commission (Mathew 28:16-20) and walk in the calling God has for them. Our desire is to know God, and to make Him known. We do this by equipping the next generation to step into intimacy with the Lord and be radical lovers of Jesus who will sell everything and go everywhere.

This past year (2022-2023) I started and finished my first discipleship training school with YWAM Kona and during this time my heart was broken for the great commission. This is why through prayer and fasting I have decided to step into staffing with Fire & Fragrance. With staffing I will disciple and equip young people (like myself) to step into the great commission and experience the same freedom in Jesus I have experienced. While staffing I will lead teams to the nations with the goal of loving and leading people to Jesus.

After YWAM, I feel called to the United States, China and generally to all those who have never heard the gospel. The Lord has given me a passion to see people come to know Jesus and for the persecuted and unreached to receive the gospel for the first time.

I love Jesus with my whole heart and want to be able to help other men and women step into this same love. But I do not get paid to do this job! So I need partners who would walk with me in activating people into fulfilling the great commission!
