Micah Kent

Hello there! My name is Micah Kent, and I will be joining YWAM Paris Connect (YPC) as a staff member.

What I have found at YPC is that it is a great place to serve and learn in my journey with God. I will be able to minister to others, the local community, and the nations through various pathways, as well as help me to deepen my understanding of where God’s calling is on my life.

YWAM’s mission is to know God and to make him known through evangelism, training, and mercy ministries. The base I am going to, YPC , has a major focus on cities in Europe, youth, and the 10/40 window. This is the base I did my DTS (Discipleship Training School) from as a student, and I am excited to return. From personal experience, they do a really good job at not only being mission focused, but also being community focused to helping both students and staff grow with their walk with God. As a staff member, there are many more opportunities to be stretched, grown, and invest in God’s Kingdom.

There are many different ministries and opportunities that I can expect to do during my time as staff. The ministries and opportunities can be divided into different categories. Base ministries keep the base up and running and cover a wide range of opportunities, from being a cook, hospitality, base maintenance, media, etc. to staffing schools, supporting students, running finances, and much more. Outreach is where we go and spread the gospel; which ranges from local outreaches all the way to the nations. There is also time for personal growth, this may be the finding or development of ministry that interests me, or possibly further education through the University of Nations (a whole lot more opportunities).

I really look forward to being a part of this community and being part of what God is doing in Europe. I want to see Europe reignited, more harvesters in the harvest, reaching for the unreached, unifying churches, spreading the truth of the Gospel, and strengthening faith. I believe that YPC is a good stepping stone into getting me ready and/or developing me for ministry.

In order to even go on a mission with YWAM, I need people that will come alongside and support me. Would you consider partnering with me as I go on mission WITH my supporters. And not just financial support, but also in prayer. So I would like to invite you to be a part of the journey that God has in store.

I would ask that you would pray and take some time to consider supporting me on a monthly basis or in a one time donation to the mission. Your support in this would be greatly appreciated, whether that is in prayer, funding, or moral support.

Let’s go build God’s Kingdom together!
