We lost our hearts to the homeless in Budapest in 2010 and in the years that followed after, a lot of amazing things have happened. Following God’s guidance and calling we founded the non-profit organization Stichting Embrace and started with bringing goods to shelters in Hungary and organizing youth outreaches. Realizing we can serve better by living in Hungary we moved in 2015 together with our 2 kids. Since then, we have become team leaders of Embrace Hungary and created several projects to help the homeless and poor. In 2017 we started with Sunday church service for the homeless and poor once a month. Currently, there is church every Sunday and around the 35-50 people will attend. In the last years we baptized around 20 people and in April 2022, Koral Church was recognized as an official Hungarian Baptist church.

In addition to the church, we are involved in other programs:

• Wood program; to be able to give wood in the winter, so people can heat their homes

• Grocery program for the homeless and people in need

• Weekly visiting the homeless in the streets/hospitals/shelters

• Organizing Mission-trips

God is changing so many people’s lives and hearts through our unconditional love, respect and help, it is a blessing to be a part of that!
