Hello all, I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to share an amazing opportunity that God has really put on my heart. I have been blessed to be officially accepted into YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in Mazatlan.

What is YWAM? Youth With A Mission is a discipleship training school with the main goal of getting to know God more intimately while also making God known and sharing the gospel all over the world. I believe everyone in the world should hear about the goodness of God. They have over 18,000 staff all over the world and are located in over 180 countries.

YWAM's three main focuses are evangelism, training and mercy ministries. Those who don’t know or aren’t familiar with these three things, I will go into a little detail. Evangelism is sharing the gospel by going out in public and sharing the goodness of God. This can happen in many ways. Sometimes God will highlight that someone is dealing with pain or mental illness, etc. That would be when I go up to them and let God lead me. It is all about planting that seed!

Training is all about what God is equipping me for. For me, I think that is helping women who have been broken down and abused.

The Ministry of Mercy is having hope for the sick, lost, poor and broken and praying for healing.

As many of you know, I was assaulted a few years ago in high school, I was in a deep and dark place and I didn’t want to live anymore. I strayed away from God because I blamed Him for all that had happened to me. I had never felt so alone, all the thoughts were overwhelming. The devil did not want me to get up, he wanted me to stay down. God had other plans for me, he picked me up at my very lowest I have ever been. God is an awesome God and continues to help me and push me everyday to be the woman of God I am called to be. This is why I feel my calling is helping the beaten and broken. I used to think there was no way out, no way to be free and truly happy, there is and His name is Jesus.

In January, I will be embarking on a meaningful mission trip to Mazalan for three months with a dedicated group of individuals from YWAM. This mission trip is a chance for me to make a positive impact in the lives of many children, men and women who have been impacted by sex trafficking, poverty, abuse and so much more. Our mission includes sharing the gospel, praying over people who are struggling mentally and physically and personally growing in my relationship with God.

To make this mission trip a reality, I am looking for financial assistance and prayer warriors. I will be needing all the prayers for a fruitful and safe few months. Your generous donation will go a long way in covering the cost of travel, food, tuition and other necessities.
