Hello there, my name is Janae’ Sims!

I am a full-time missionary with a non-profit global organization called Circuit Riders in Huntington Beach, CA. Circuit Riders has been an evangelistic ministry for 10 years with one mission in mind, “To save the lost, revive the saved and train them all.” We desire to see young people fall in love with Jesus and to pour out that love on their generation and the generations to come.

On Thanksgiving Day when I was six years old, my twelve-year-old cousin shared the gospel with me while we were playing Barbies. I received Christ that day; I now know that God marked me then to see young people receive Christ and watch Him reveal Himself to them in their early years as He did for me! What a difference it also made for me to see someone young that looked like me and could relate to me; share the love of Jesus with me. This sparked something in me that I had no idea would prepare me for the next thing God was going to manifest in my life.

In my growing relationship with Christ, I became a camp counselor for another non-profit organization called Kids Across America (KAA sports camp) where I counseled High Schoolers from different inner cities across the United States. We would spend a full week discipling students. Our mission was to teach and train them how to grow in their relationship with Christ. That camp experience created the spark that set me ablaze.

For the last two years I was a youth leader at a small church plant. However, these ministry opportunities were only part time. Once the church closed, I knew God was calling me to go even deeper. Then came the Black Voice Movement, I knew this was the movement God created for me to serve full-time.

My God dream, goal and vision is to see a generation turn to Jesus and for people of color to fully participate in fulfilling the great commission. Matthew 28:19a says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…”

We can’t go to the nations if the nations aren’t included in being sent.
