Hey there!! My name is Jessie Samarin, I am an Oregonian living in Norway as a missionary with YWAM. God has called me to serve as a School Leader for a Discipleship Training School called Explore DTS. I have a two year commitment at YWAM Skien, but a lifelong calling to missions!

The heart of Explore DTS is to have a passion for adventure. Hebrews 11:8 says, "By faith, Abraham, when he was called, obeyed and set out for a place that he was going to receive as inheritance. He went out even though he did not know where he was going." This is a school that chases after God's promises with perseverance and despite the unknowns. Unity, excellence, risk, hunger, pioneer, and a heart for the one are words of identity God has spoken over this school. This will be a DTS of transformation through the love of Jesus!!!

I really do have the best job in the world!! Youth With A Mission is a volunteer organization, so even though I get to be a part of so many amazing experiences, and it is a full time job, there is no salary. Monthly financial support is a requirement during my time in Norway. Prayer is also an equally important way to partner with me!
