Hey! I am Joshua O'Keith, and this is my story.

Last summer, I was blessed to have gone on a missions trip to Thailand with my church.  There were over 20 of us, many were teens such as me.  We went and served at a YWAM (Youth With A Mission) shelter for abused and trafficked women, put on a vacation bible school for children, and prayed for people in the streets.  That experience really opened my eyes and heart to the desperation for the gospel, and the power behind it.

When I came back, I had the blessing to go visit colleges and look at educational programs that I was interested in.  During that process, God really put it on my heart that maybe there was something else I should be doing.  While searching and praying, I came across an organization called Circuit Riders. (www.circuitriders.com)  Circuit Riders is a YWAM mission and training community that focuses on evangelism at colleges and university campuses. They have a motto that is "Save the lost. Revive the saved. Train them all." They accomplish this mission by training students, like me, to live a life fronted by the Great Commission.

Through prayer and many God-divine moments, I have met many that have served here and I found that I have a passion to see the lost among my generation be saved.  I truly feel God is leading me to go and be trained up to do missions work for the next 6 - 12 months.

With that said, I will be attending a 6-month discipleship training school this October in Huntington Beach, CA. Three months of it will be leadership training and then the last three months will be focused on missions work at college campuses across America. We will be planning worship nights, times of sharing testimonies, and host evangelistic gatherings.

My heart is so on fire to travel and spread the hope of the gospel to the American youth! Jesus wants to see America reconciled and I believe that I am being called to live a life of mission towards the youth of this nation.
