Hello! I am Gwyneth Breshears and for the past year and a half, I have been a part of Youth with a Mission (YWAM).

My heart is to see young people, specifically from inner-cities, set free in Christ and burning with passion to see the lost/unreached won for Christ. God has called me to YWAM in order to receive proper training, begin to go to the nations, and to serve and disciple others.

Currently, I am finishing up a School of Biblical Studies. This has been a time of deep repentance, transformation, and awe of the Lord as God builds my life on the truth in His Word. My expectation of these studies is that they are not just for me, but for others as well.

Specifically, we use the inductive method to conduct an in-depth study of all 66 books of the Bible. The inductive method is a way to study Scripture knowing that it was written for us, but not directly to us. It allows us to interpret and apply Scripture as it would’ve meant to the author and intended audience.

During this school, I was also sent to Armenia where my team taught the inductive method to locals and missionaries. We saw many people’s understanding of the Scriptures and God transformed.

As my heart for the nations has grown, God has been leading me to a 2-year staffing commitment with YWAM. During this time, I will be trained in my leadership as I volunteer on a mission base. I will also be staffing a Discipleship Training School, where I’ll be walking with students as they grow in their knowledge of God and discipleship. Additionally, I will be sent with other staff into the mission field with our students, helping train them to share the gospel and reach the lost.
