Hi! My name is Emma Allison and I'm a missionary with YWAM (Youth With A Mission). The heart of YWAM is to know God and to make Him known! Reaching every nation for the Gospel! 

For six months I did a DTS (Discipleship Training School) where you spend three months learning about the heart of God and growing in relationship with Him, then three months in the nations! I was launched into Northern Africa for my outreach, and it changed my life. Through this, I became more aware of God's heart for His people and got a little taste of just how deeply He desires to walk with each and every one of them!

This has led me to a passion He put in my heart to see people walk as intimately with Him as possible, which  has led me to the ministry of prayer houses. A prayer house is a place set aside for intimacy with God. It is a place to intercede, to praise and worship, and to talk with God. The concept of prayer houses is found all throughout Scripture (Isaiah 56:7; Matt. 21:13; Psalm 27:4). My desire is to take this into the nations and walk alongside people as they deepen their relationships with God, and discover it for the first time!

Just how I desire to see people grow in their spiritual muscles, God has also given me a heart for using fitness to reach people as well. After my DTS, I did an internship with YWAM's CrossFit ministry, RTC (Respect The Corners). My eyes were opened to what God could do through a CrossFit coach in the world! As a coach, you have an hour of the day where you can lead people through a workout, while also having the opportunity to create connections with people in a unique way. It's a great avenue for discipleship and Gospel conversations that you wouldn't be able to have otherwise. After I receive my certification for coaching, I will be seeking to take this to the field.

My mission work will be taking me into Central Asia and the Middle East to see this fulfilled, and I cannot do it alone!
