Hello Friends,

I grew up in Greenwood, Indiana in a Christian family. Ever since I was a little girl, I loved God, loved working with my hands, and loved learning how things worked, this led me to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. I fully believed I would pursue a career in engineering after graduating from IUPUI. During my senior year of college, I experienced burnout. Burnout in work, school, and even in being a Christian. I decided to postpone stepping into the workforce and instead chose to take some time to focus on my relationship with God. That is when I found Youth With A Mission (YWAM), specifically an Outdoor Discipleship Training School in Lausanne, Switzerland.

During this school I experienced the most beautiful time in my relationship with God, I truly experienced living life with the joy and peace that comes from walking in an intimate relationship with God every day. He gently guided, healed, corrected, and taught me. He taught me how to joyfully surrender to his plan, rest in His presence, say yes to obeying his calling, and learn to delight in Him. I learned how to share about God in everyday conversations with people and see people through God’s eyes and love them with the love God has shown me.

I have committed to staffing with a team that is pioneering a brand-new base in St. Moritz, Switzerland which is in a stunning valley in the southeast part of Switzerland. This base will be the second base in YWAM history to utilize the outdoors (https://www.ywamstmoritz.com), as a way to learn more about God. From personal experience, I can say that God designed humans to be multidimensional: mind, body, and soul and that exploring God’s creation ignites all three. God reveals himself to us through creation. It is my hope and prayer that a better understanding of God’s grandeur, love, peace, and joy that future students will have the courage to reach out in love to others, who share a passion for the outdoors. It’s an amazing experience to see God use a love for the outdoors to draw Christians into a deeper connection and help us employ nature to connect with others. We will be running an Outdoor Discipleship Training School. This school has twelve weeks of lecture phase and eight weeks of outreach during which students will experience spiritual, mental, and physical training. Training focuses on living a life on mission for God, wherever God has called them, and using the gifts and passions He has given them.

While staffing I will be helping connect with the local outdoor community in St. Moritz and the surrounding areas, but we will also be connecting with tourists from all over the world who come to this valley for a wide range of outdoor sports. I will also be staffing a five-month Outdoor Discipleship Training School where I will be helping orchestrate growth and learning for individuals in their personal relationship with God. In the final two months, I will also help lead a team to another country for outreach where we will spend eight weeks serving people and sharing God’s love for people.

I would be incredibly thankful if you would prayerfully consider partnering with me to serve and connect with people in St. Moritz and students from around the world. I am extremely thankful for this opportunity to serve God and say yes to Him. I invite you to see what step of faith he is asking you to take. If you have any questions or would like to know more about my upcoming adventures, feel free to contact me via email or phone.
